New Executive Director
Buckingham Heights Memory Care is proud to announce Jennifer DeLeon-Rivera as the community’s new Executive Director. Jennifer brings more than two decades of senior living experience to the role, having served residents and families across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living settings since 2005. She joins a close-knit team at Buckingham Heights, sharing in the community’s continued commitment to exceptional, person-centered memory care for residents and families throughout the greater Hartford area.
Jennifer steps into the role with a clear vision for what exceptional memory care looks like, and a deep personal commitment to making it a reality every day.
“My belief is that exceptional senior living is built on compassion, dignity, and engagement,” says Jennifer. “I am passionate about creating meaningful connections, supporting families through their journey, and fostering an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and truly at home.”
Since joining Buckingham Heights, Jennifer has been impressed by the dedication of the memory care team.
“I have been inspired by the gentle hands, caring hearts, and unwavering dedication of a team that treats every resident like family,” she says. “I am honored to work alongside professionals who bring warmth, purpose, and joy to each day, those who are committed to creating meaningful moments for residents and their loved ones.”
Outside of her professional life, Jennifer is a devoted wife and proud mother of three. She and her family share a love of travel, particularly cruising to tropical destinations while exploring new cultures, and making lasting memories together on beaches around the world.
